Abused Sandton puppy finds happiness (previous owner doesn’t!)
Here at Morningside News HQ, we are all passionate supporters of the amazing work done by animal rights groups in Sandton – the Sandton SPCA in particular.
We were horrified to hear the recent story of Scotty, an 8-month old puppy that was repeatedly beaten by his owner and have been looking out for news of this beautiful dog’s fate.
And it’s GOOD NEWS!
According to Ralph Hohls, General Manager at the Sandton SPCA, Scotty’s previous owner has just been convicted and sentenced to a fine of R9,000 or three months in jail, as well as a pet ownership ban of five years.
Scotty has already settled into his new home – a victory for him and thanks to the many generous supporters who have made donations that allow the Sandton SPCA to continue its amazing work!
